Manta Lodge and Scuba Centre : Stradbroke Island

Over the last few weeks the whales have been putting on a fantastic show with breaching and tail waving to the delight of everyone on board our boats….

Well folks the whales are in from sunny Sydney on there way to the Great Barrier Reef

Thinking it is getting cold I won’t go diving…. then you are insane. The colder water comes some of the best

The humpback whales are already at the QLD boarder so it will not be long before we see the massive

These are just a few of the things we saw this easter.

Love was in the air last week or should I say Love was underwater….

Wonderful diving with lots of turtles out in force this week.
We had the good old Green sea turtles and many large old hawksbills just hanging around eating and sleeping.

On the 8/03/09 diving the beautiful Turtle Caves our divers were visited by a school of 20+ large eagle rays.
